Bian Stone Gua Sha

What is Bian Stone?

Bian stone is both the name of the treatment, and the name of the stone-based tool used during the therapeutic practice. 


It is also known as "needle stone", is a type of mineral rock that has been used in Chinese medicine for its perceived healing properties.

The treatment involves using a smooth, flat tool made from bian stone to gently scrape or rub the skin in order to promote circulation, reduce inflammation, and encourage the body's natural healing processes. 


It is believed to contain various minerals and elements like Sr. Ti, Zn Fe, these elements are beneficial for human health. These minerals and elements can interact with the body's energy pathways (meridians) and promote well-being.
